The orphanage director posted pics of the children on his Facebook page and Carson is standing and walking! (yes, even in Haiti where there is incredible poverty, they still manage to have Facebook!) We knew in the fall that he was starting to stand up and possibly taking steps.
Amy received word today that our paperwork SHOULD finally be approved by the end of the week, BUT these are hopeful words that we have become very cautious about taking too seriously. It is so difficult for me to understand why the delays are sooooo long... one provides what they are asking for (SS cards and corrected paperwork) and then they simply check it off and state : APPROVED! right??
Is anyone else having a weird day today? I have been in tears today, then both Caden and Cali have been super sensitive and in tears also. Then I realized, there must be a full moon! Wallah!! I was right. While I am not at all superstitious, I've seen enough weird stuff with people at the time of the full moon. Anyone else who works in healthcare can probably say the same thing. I'm working in Mpls tomorrow, yikes, that should be interesting after an evening of the full moon :) Great.
Have a good week everyone. Thanks for reading and taking this journey with us.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth
