Unforeseen

Well, we've had another unepexted issue... Since we had to redo our fingerprints for the US government (USCIS office), something came up and they now want an updated homestudy. For those that don't know, the homestudy is a major step in getting all your adoption paperwork in order.  We are working closely and quickly with our adoption agency to get this done ASAP.  This may need to be a revised homestudy or it may be just a matter of adding an addendum to our current homestudy.  This updated version may need to be notarized, legalized, authenticated and translated, AGAIN!  Our agency will let us know what else we need to do, hopefully soon!  If we can get this all done before everything else is ready to go to the US Embassy in Port au Prince, Haiti, then we'll be okay.  If this delays things on OUR part and Carson is then waiting for us, I will not be a happy camper.  Sometimes it really does feel that there is an external source that is fighting us, and this process, every step of the way.  Yet, our God is so much bigger than anything else, we know that He will ultimately have the say in everything that happens.  We are in His hands (though not always easy to remember this when it feels so hard!)  Ugh.  So close, yet still so much left to do. 

Hold on sweet baby boy, Mommy and Daddy, Caden and Cali love you so much; we just can't wait to bring you home.  We'll be there soon!!
